The AIT system is an automated animal inoculation system that calculates the proper dosage for an animal based either on its weight reported by scale reading or by manual input. The RFID option provides the ability to read information either from the animal’s identification tag or RFID device and to integrate that as part of the data stream. In the future medication may be loaded from the Company's patent pending intelligent medication cartridge that includes an environmentally controlled chamber. In all AIT systems, the medication will remain at its proper temperature even in extreme ranges +125°F to -35°F for several hours. There is no waste as a partially used cartridge can be stored for its full useful shelf life or until emptied during additional inoculation or processing schedules.
Issued patents and licensing agreements create a strong barrier to entry as well as guarantee marketplace protection. All patents and patents pending will offer a long period of protection for the AIT system and ancillary products/applications. The Company will leverage its existing patents and exclusively licensed intellectual property from Henke-Sass Wolf and NanoPore. The company also has several new patent applications in process. The Company anticipates that continuing software and hardware development will create a significant number of new patent opportunities.
The Company has successfully tested the pre-production system shown below.
Initial field tests have proven the system’s computational algorithms and the use of a viscosity independent pump as a significant improvement over current average weight injection protocol. Based on the success of recent tests at Texas A&M University in College Station on cattle of similar average weight, significant improvement over average dosing was clearly demonstrated.
